Sailing time!

Here are a couple more pictures from our Mexico Trip in January. We went on a day sail to Ylapa. It is a neat little town along the water, surrounded by mountains. The only way to get there is by boat. The town has these very narrow streets that twist and turn through it. They do not have cars, only Quads, horses and mules. It is a very neat little place. A lot of the travel places in PV offer day trips there.

One picture is of us on the street, overlooking the beach.

The other is of our sail back. On our sail back, which took about 2 1/2 hours, we saw Whales, Killer Whales and a pod of about 20 Dolphins. They cruised with the boat for a while and there were off to hunt fish. It was very cool. Hayden was too busy watching his movie in the cockpit to come and see the dolphins. I guess we need a few more years before he appreciates those "life" moments. How many people can say they got up close and personal to those kinds of things. The dolphins were literally feet away from me, as I was at the front of the boat and they are swimming along with it. Very cool.

Hayden and the Seahorse boy

This is another statue that is along the water. This is the most popular statue. It is of a little boy on a Seahorse. Hayden thought it was fun to stand on top where he was "bigger" than everyone. You can double click the picture for a larger view.

Old PV in Mexico

Hello there. The attached picture is in old town PV, while we were visiting my parents on their boat. We did the river walk, which is alot of little shops along the river and it ends up at the beach. We then walked the beach. They have all these neat statues along the water. This is one were Hayden is mimicking the statue . Too cute!

Down the Slide he comes!

This is a picture of my son, Hayden, coming down the big boy slide at Paradise Village Hotel in PV Mexico. It took some coaxing to get him to go down the first time and then there was no stopping him. This slide was a Crocodile and then the part where you come out was the mouth, it was really cool. In this picture he got turned around sideways and was a little unsure for a few minutes after that. I would say in total he went down 20 times. There is Daddy & Papa waiting for him at the bottom.

Cowboy Card for Stamp A Rama

This was a card I designed some months ago for a Stamp A Rama. It is a Joy Fold card. You can view a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. Anyway, it opens to the right. One portion of the card fits under the Build-a-Brad and then to open it, you just untuck it.

Stamp Set: Bronc Buster
C/S: Choc Chip, Sage Shadow, Confetti Cream, Designer Paper "Outlaw
Ink: Choc Chip
Accessories: Build-a-Brad, 1/2" circle punch, Hemp

Little Man's VDay Card

I needed a card for my 4 year old son for Valentine's day. I literally, whipped this one out! It is nothing special, but he thought it was very cool. I used the "Wild about you" stamp set. I took a piece of Basic Black c/s and used the spiral punch to make it look like a film reel or photo negative. I finished the card off with some black gingham ribbon. This one was about a 10 minute card. I could have embellished it a little more, but I like the simple yet cute look.

Swaps for Oakland Regionals

These are two samples of the swaps that I did for the Oakland regionals this past weekend. They are both very similar to the card I designed for Valentine's Day and my club card.

Again, I used the "Just B" stamp set. The card to the left is Taken with Teal & Soft sky. The other card is Brilliant Blue & Bashful blue. Both use Pumpkin Pie as the base. I used the Fabulous stamp from "Just B", so the saying is "B fabulous"! I like it! I really like the little bee with this set. It was very cute and works well. SU! did it again with this set. Love it!

Valentine's Day Mailbox

This is another project that I designed for Valentine's Day and for our project at the monthly Stamper's club. Everyone LOVED this little mailbox. Can I just say how easy this little guy is to make? Easy peesy!

Just select your cardstock of choice, cut to 4 X 12 and adhere using sticky strip. I just put the sticky strip on the bottom pieces. Trace lid and cut cardstock. Adhere using glue and trim as necessary. Add accessories of choice and presto! You have a great little gift.

I used Berry Bliss Designer Paper, Blossoms punch, ribbon and circle, designer punches to decorate.

Be Mine Valentine's Day Card

This is a card that I designed for my club. It is Valentine's themed and I used "Just B" stamp set. Everyone loved, loved, loved this set. In fact, I sold 5 sets that night. It is a great set, very versatile. Please see the recipe below. Enjoy!

Stamp set: Just B
Cardstock: Choc chip, Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose, VV
Ink: Choc Chip, Regal Rose, Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: White Gel pen, Scallop, Circle & Ticket corner punches, Regal Rose Ribbon & dimensionals

Disneyland Scrapbook

Hi there. In early October, I went on a scrapbook retreat and scraped our trip to Disneyland. Hayden had so much fun there and so did we.
These pages are just random pictures of our trip. You can also see how Disney goes all out decorating for the holidays, here they are decorated for Halloween. Hope these photos are big enough to allow to you view.

It's been a LONG time

I know, I know. It has been a long time since my last post, almost 3 months to be exact. My computer went down and that was the only computer that we had the imaging software on that allows me to resize my pictures.
I am now working on my husbands, well mine now, computer and we have loaded all the necessary software so that I can work efficiently on this computer.

A lot has been going on with me since my last post. Look at the picture. Can you guess? I am finally PREGNANT again! This picture was taken in Mexico in early January and I was 20 weeks. I do not look this pregnant, I don't know if it was the shirt or the angle or what, but this picture makes me look about ready to pop! I am now almost 24 weeks (6 months) and am definitely showing. I only have one pair of jeans that fit, other than my maternity ones, but those are still a little big.

We went to Disneyland end of September, early October and we found out just after we returned. We kept it hush hush for a while but I could hardly stand it and let it leak out to most of our family & friends.

I decided to have an Amino. Due to my age, 39 and the fact that I was really worried about the unknown. Everything went fine with that and the day after Christmas, we got the news that we are having a little girl. Greg was in shock. For some reason he thought that we would have a house full of boys running around. Now we are thinking pink, barbies & dolls. This is very new for us! Especially considering that Hayden is ALL boy.

We are excited about our pending arrival and feel blessed that we get another child on our lives. Things have settled down and I am hoping to start posting every few days. Please keep looking and be patient!
