She's All That Birthday wishes

This is a card that I made for my Stampers Club for May. This is a suspension card. See tutorial on Split Coast Stampers ( I would include the link but I don't know how yet, I need to play around with it). I wanted to keep the front of the card simple, since this was mostly about how to design the suspension part of it. I think it turned out cute!

Recipe:

Stamps: She's all That, Circle of Friendship
C/S: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, WW, DSP Afternoon Tea
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou
Accessories: Sponge, White Gel pen, Scallop and circle punches, dental floss, rhinestone from Pretties Kit.

Carousel Notes

This is a card that we did at our Luv2stamp meeting in April. These carousel notes are available in the Mini Occasions catalog, which has been extended through June. Yeah! There is still a bunch of things that I would like to order! The notes come with the scalloped edges and with envelopes. Pretty cool. Check them out!

Pretty Peony Swap Card

I did this card for our Luv2Stamp group meeting in April. This is a meeting that my Upline (3rd up) holds every Quarter. There were about 35 cards swapped. We always have a vote for the top three cards and mine won 3rd. I was so excited. It's the first time I have ever had a card recognized! The flowers have glitter on them, which is really hard to see in this picture.

I have another post that I did a while back that was for a WSC challenge. That card is very similar to this one. I actually had this one done and then saw that challenge and realized I could change the layout fairly easy to join in that challenge. This is just an explanation if you are wondering why I posted two cards that look almost identical.

Recipe for this card below.

Stamp set: Pretty Peony
C/S: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Shimmery White and Reflections DSP
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon, 2 way glue pen & DD glitter.

Another Tart and Tangy

We saw a variation to this card done a regionals in Oakland by Jena Haux and then this card was done at our Luv2Stamp group meeting in April, also done by Jena. This is a really fun little card. The Bashful Blue piece flips up so that you can put a sentiment inside. I will be doing a variation of this card for club in the next few months.

The "other" invitation

This is the "other" invitation that I did for my Mother-in-Law for my baby shower. There was quite the commotion within my stamping friends as to who received what invite. The gals who got this invite, felt a bit "slighted" because they felt the Baby Onesie was truly the "one" to get. I made the mistake of showing it at club one night, so for those who saw it, I sent this invite instead. It is cute in it's own right. I saw it at the Oakland regionals and thought it would be a great card. At the regionals, they also showed a matching "thank you" card. EVERYONE will be receiving that one!!!

Stamp set: Wild about You
Paper: So Saffron, Ruby Red, Ruby Red Designer Paper, WW, Vellum
Inks: Ruby Red
Accessories: Brads, Circle & Scallop punches, Farmer John Font from SU! CD.

Just lovin Tart and Tangy!

What can I say? I just love this little stamp set and the matching Summer Picnic Designer Paper. This is a project we did in April at my Stamper's club meeting. I always do two projects and this was the smaller of the two. The gals got to choose one of these two. I think they turned out very cute!

More Club swaps

As promised, here are some more of the swaps from my Stamper's club. My ladies rock!

My Baby Shower

These are some pictures from my Baby shower last weekend. My Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-law threw the shower for me. It was a great shower. There were about 25 people there and I got so many cool gifts. It was nice visiting with everyone and we all had a great time.
