Calyn's first steps

Calyn is walking! She started at 8 1/2 months! This picture was taken on February 24th. She had been walking for about 4 days before this was taken. She beat out her brother by a few weeks, he started walking just at 9 months.

She is so little and looks funny walking. People will comment on how amazing it is that she is so small and walking .

Now, she is all over the place, constantly on the go. She is in to everything, every room. We put a gate going into Hayden's room, as that would be the most dangerous room with all the small lego parts. We are considering putting another gate from the kitchen into the living room area.

She loves to go into the bathroom and play at the toilet. Yuck. And she thinks it is hysterical to pull the toilet paper off the roll.

Another favorite thing? Pulling the foam padding off the fireplace. You can see it in the photo, just behind her. I think we have over reacted when she has done it in the past and now when she pulls it off, she squeals with delight and looks over to us and smiles! She sure keeps us on our toes!

The Easter Bunny

The kids with the Easter Bunny. I was surprised that Calyn did not cry. She wasn't too sure about the whole big furry rabbit but she held out. Not a peep.

Our gym had an Easter party with games, a jumpy and of course, the Easter Bunny. I'm glad we made it, otherwise this would have been a year without a picture with the big bunny.

Hayden is totally excited about the bunnies visit this weekend, probably because of all the candy that he is sure to get. He has been talking about the Easter Bunny and his wagon full of candy and goodies. Not sure where he got that idea but it sounds cute.

He told me tonight that I need to leave the door unlocked so that the bunny can get in. I told him the bunny had magic and could get in no matter what.

Happy Easter!

Mon Petite Mademoiselle

Isn't she cute? I was in Gymboree last year, October, I think and I found this adorable beret. I also bought the matching shirt & leggings and a lavender dress that has navy Eiffel Towers on it. I think that she may wear that on Saturday when we visit friends for Easter.

Bonjour!

I'm back....

I have been away WAY too long. Call it life, call it excuses, whatever. My computer shares a room with my daughter. I can't go in there when she is sleeping, or I will wake her up. I can't really spend time in there when she is awake, because I am constantly chasing after her. So, I finally convinced my husband to buy me a laptop.

Now, I can sit in the kitchen and be in the computer while still overseeing the kids. I promise a new post of the kids tonight, with more pictures of family and Stampin' Up! projects to follow.

Cheers!
